FAQ about The Sensible Dog First Aid Kit
1. Why are the items just in a plastic bag instead
of already in the Fanny Pack?
We do this so you have the chance to get familiar
with all of the items. We also do this so that you
can organize them into the 3 compartments
in a way that makes sense to you.
For example, you might put all the instruments
in the front pouch, the misc. items in the back
pouch, and everything else in the main pouch.
2. What else do I need for a complete kit?
You should talk to your veterinarian about
doses of diphenhydramine (Benadryl) and
activated charcoal that would be appropriate
for your pet.
3. What about identification or other information?
It is recommended that you carry a picture of you
and your pet for identification. You might want to
include any specific health information about your
pet that would help in an emergency. It is also
a good idea to know your pet’s normal vital signs
and have the information written down as well.
