The Ruff Wear Web Master Harness
FEATURES
* The Ruff Wear Web Master Harness is designed for comfort and security. It has a five-point adjustable fit (to accommodate dogs of all sizes and shapes),a balance assistance handle (so you can help your dog over an obstacle or out of harm’s way), fleece padded chest and belly straps (for extended wear), 3M Scotchlite reflective trim (for visibility and safety in low light ), and a strong V-ring leash attachment.
EXPERIENCE
Since the Approach Pack, which I reviewed in January, is built on the same frame as this harness, many of the comments I made about the pack are true about the harness.
* I am impressed by the durability. (Ruff Wear items can stand up to - well, rough wear!)
* I am impressed with how adjustable it is. I had gotten Tucker a small, but when I first was trying it on him I wasn’t sure that it would fit. It does take some time to change all the settings, but the 5-point fit really made it possible to get a perfect fit. (There is a sizing chart on the website.)
I have written up a direction sheet for the sizing adjustment which I would be glad to mail or email to you.
* Once the harness was fitted to Tucker, I was impressed with how easy it was to put on him - (over his head, pick up one paw, then just two snaps). Comes off just as easily when we get home.
* It comes in red, which is Tucker’s favorite color. (OK, so it’s really my favorite color.)
* It is perfect for those of you who might to take your dog along while you skateboard or in-line skate. (That’s not for me - but good for you if you can do it!) We haven;t gone biking yet this season, but I will try attaching a leash to his harness. I'll let you know how that works.
* I connect Tucker’s BatziBelt car seat connector to his Web Master harness. (RuffWear does not market this harness as a dog seat belt harness, so they do not guarantee that it will protect your dog in case of an accident. It is great for reducing driver distraction.)

Excellent.
