(Use a strong, good quality harness, like the Ruff Wear Web Master Harness.)

The small size is made of 5/8 inch strap. The large size is made of 1 inch strap.

How to Use the BatziBelt:
* Fasten the seat belt of the car.
* Slip the stainless steel shackle onto the seat belt,
as easily as a paper clip slips onto a piece of paper.
* Fasten one of the snaps onto the shackle. Fasten the other snap onto your dog's harness.
NOTE: NEVER attach the BatziBelt to your pet's collar.
* You can leave the BatziBelt shackle permanently attached to the seat belt;
it will not be in the way of a passenger who is riding in your car.
PERFORMANCE of the BatziBelt
The BatiBelt is very easy to attach and use. Since the BatziBelt does not clip into the seatbelt device, it can be used in any car. Unlike, some other systems , the BatziBelt shackle can be left permanently attached to the seat belt; it will not be in the way of a passenger who is riding in your car. The one draw back that I see is that the strap is quite short and can’t really function as a leash, should you need to get your dog out of the car quickly in an emergency. So, be sure to have a leash (like the Ruff Wear Just-a-Cinch) handy.
(Remember that this product is designed to help minimize driver distraction. It may not prevent injury to you, your pet, or passengers in case of a car accident.)
Bottom Line:
I strongly believe in using some kind of car restraint for your dog. When the manufacturer of the product I previously offered discontinued their line, I researched a number of systems. This is the car restraint system that I am now using for Tucker.
Rating:
Good.
