The Ruff Wear Hover Craft Dog Disc
Tucker loves to play “Disc Dog”. He also loves to “kill the disc” after a good catch. He’ll hold it in his mouth, stand on it with one foot, and pull up. He can destroy a disc within the first few minutes of play. But not the Hover Craft! We’ve put it to hard use for several months and it is still in great shape. It has gotten wet and that has caused the fabric to pull away from the core in a few places. It doesn’t look as good as it did, but that didn’t affect the function at all.
Update 02-01-09. The Hover Craft is still going strong, through the snow and ice!!
It looks really cool when it spins and has snow on the edges
Features:
* Molded aerodynamics let the Hover Craft fly, and fly, and fly
* Brightly colored disc with reflective trim makes it easy to see & find those missed throws
(Well- it is red and yellow and that has made it a little hard to spot in the fall leaves, but we haven’t lost it - yet.)
* Laminated ballistic nylon will endure endless play
* Molded Foam core gives the disc its shape and keeps it afloat in water
* Fabric and foam construction keeps the disc safe for dogs’ teeth and gums
(but it’s not a chew toy!)
Sizes:
* Small - 6 " (15 cm) in diameter - perfect for small breeds or indoor play.
*Large - 9 " (23 cm) in diameter - regulation size and weight for long throws
Use: To be used for long extended games of fetch and catch.
Intent: Designed to be interactive. While the Ruff Wear Hover craft dog discs are constructed of heavy-duty materials, they are not meant to be used as chew toys. Once the interactive play has ended, put the discs out of the dogs reach and replace them with an acceptable chew toy.
Rating:
Excellent.
