The Ruff Wear Mt Bachelor Pad.

Dogs view “space” as it relates to “status” in their pack. A trainer I know suggests that you clearly define your dog’s “space” in every room in which you and your dog spend a considerable amount of time. So, I have now added to my office a Ruff Wear Mt Bachelor Pad.
I had initially purchased it because of its portability, but it is now Tucker’s “space” in the office. He loves it. It now appears that this is the place where he chooses to spend his time when I’m not home. The added benefit will be the comfort that this will give him when we do travel and his “pad” goes with him.
This dog pad, like the other Ruff Wear products, is extremely well made. Tucker, of course, had to shake it and then scrunch it into a ball, when I first gave it to him. No sign at all of this rough treatment!!
Added 10-01-2008 after a trip.
When traveling, I put it on as a seat cover in the back seat. We have the medium size, so it doesn't cover the entire back seat. I put it on top of the other seat pad and it stayed in place very well. I don't do this on every trip to town; just when we going away over night.
It does fold up very easy into a nice tight roll. Seems like It would be great for back packing, but we haven't tried that yet.
Reilly (Tucker's orange cat) likes it too. I wonder if he missed it when we were gone.
